Welcome to Swayamvar. We are a specialized platform designed for the diaspora to build meaningful relationships based on shared cultural values and astrological compatibility. By accessing our app or website (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you are not authorized to use the Service.

1. Eligibility 

  • Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service.

  • Community Intent: This Service is intended for individuals seeking matrimonial or serious relationship connections.

  • Legal Status: By registering, you represent that you have not been convicted of a felony or a sex offense. We reserve the right to verify eligibility and suspend accounts that do not meet these criteria.

2. Account Registration & Security

  • Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate information, including Caste/Sub-caste, Gotra, Date of Birth, and Location, as these are integral to our matching algorithms.

  • One Account Policy: You may only register one unique account. Impersonation is strictly prohibited.

  • Security: You are responsible for your login credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Purpose of the Service

  • Matchmaking Tool: We provide recommendations based on user preferences and Vedic Astrology (Guna Milap, Porutham).

  • No Guarantee: These scores are for cultural purposes only. We do not guarantee marriage success or the accuracy of astrological predictions.

4. Safety & Background Checks
YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT SWAYAMVAR AND GLOBAL REDDY MATCH DOES NOT CONDUCT CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS ON ITS USERS.

  • User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your interactions. We advise caution and external verification (such as family inquiries).

  • Reporting: If you encounter inappropriate behavior, use the Report button on the profile or contact support.

  • Optional Services: Advantage Pro Services can facilitate an optional, third-party background check for a separate fee.

5. Zero Tolerance Policy
To maintain our community, you agree NOT to:

  • Post hate speech, sexually explicit content, or offensive material.

  • Harass, bully, or defame any user or their family.

  • Use the service for spam or fraud. ENFORCEMENT: We maintain a strict Zero Tolerance Policy. Reported content is reviewed within 24 hours. Violators will be permanently banned.

​​6. User Content & Privacy

  • Ownership: You own your photos and biodata. By posting, you grant us a license to display this content for matchmaking purposes.

  • Data Rights: Residents of Virginia (VCDPA) and California (CCPA) have the right to request access to or deletion of their data. Read our full policy here:

  • Contact Sharing Consent: By accepting a ping request or connection request, you authorize Swayamvar and Global Reddy Match to share your selected contact details with that specific user. Shared details may include your phone number, email address, social media profile, or other contact information you have provided. Contact details are shared only after your acceptance and only with selected verified users who have an eligible paid plan or have paid the applicable access fee.

7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ADVANTAGE PRO LC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR THE CONDUCT OF OTHER USERS.
